Showing Christ's Love through Service

The Ministry of Helps at Agape Church is a supportive ministry that shows Christ's love through service in a variety of ways. From your entrance on our campus, until you are seated in a service, our desire is for our Ministry of Helps to facilitate your visit in a warm and friendly way. We want you to experience the love and presence of God and you come to hear His Word!

The different aspects of this ministry includes Greeters, Ushers, Service Attendants, Helping Hands, and more.

Greeters
The mission of this ministry is to show the love of God to everyone who walks in the door of Agape Church. The Greeters want everyone to feel like they just came home. They accomplish this by exhibiting the fruits of the Spirit to all that they meet, visitors and members alike. When people come to our church, the volunteers of this Ministry give them a reason to come back.

Ushers
The Ushers support the Sunday Church Services in many ways. First, they help get our visitors and congregation from the parking lot to the front entrance. They also help with getting people seated, taking up the offering, and being supportive during altar calls.

Service Attendants
The Service Attendants support the Ministry by encouraging "order" in the Sunday Services and in helping those in the congregation with any needs that may arise during the service.

Helping Hands
Helping Hands is different from the ministries above in that it is not directly involved in the Sunday Services. The volunteers of this Ministry minister throughout the week to the immediate family members of Agape Church by providing meals for those experiencing the birth of a baby, a loved one in the hospital, or a death in the family.

Welcome to the Family Classes
Our way of inviting newcomers to become members of Agape church is by connecting you to our Family of Believers. Each month, three different classes are offered Sunday nights at 5:00 PM just prior to the 6:00 service. Completion of all three classes is required for membership at
Agape Church.

Agape Church Television
The Agape Church Television Department (ACTV) produces the weekly broadcast of Agape Church services; particularly, the teaching messages of Pastor Happy Caldwell, along with the music and ministry of his wife, Jeanne Caldwell. Join Agape Today weekly by watching in your area via Victory Television Network, or Golden Eagle Broadcasting (Oral Roberts University Satellite Network). Each week on Agape Today, you will hear current messages relating to faith and overcoming Christian living.
